About the Café
Our upcoming ‘Plot to Plate’ café is all about bringing fresh, home-grown food straight to your table. Built on years of feedback from our local community shop members, we’re creating a space that finally meets our community's need for healthy, affordable meals in a friendly setting delivered in partnership with the Annesley and Felley Parish Council
We aren’t starting from scratch—we will work with the Parish Council and their community garden. By using surplus ingredients alongside our own harvests, we can ensure our menu stays resilient and budget-friendly for everyone, no matter how food prices change.
More than just a place to eat, this café is run by the community. We’re offering flexible volunteering and training so that local people can gain new skills while supporting their neighbours. It’s a simple, sustainable way to boost our local wellbeing and social life, one plate at a time.
